Hi Sheree,
Each lender has its own eligibility requirements and credit card application process to determine if someone is eligible for a credit card and these are listed on each lender’s application page. In regards to income, some credit card brands accept Centrelink payments as part of an application. Seasonal income and supporting documentation relating to it may also be considered when lenders are assessing eligibility and minimum income requirements. You and your partner may also want to discuss options with a specific bank or credit card brand before applying to see what your options are. I hope that helps.

I am on Centrelink payments and my partner is classed as a seasonal worker (he is a Shearer), would we qualify for a credit card?
