Our verdict
Thriday offers a business bank account and Visa Debit card with no monthly account keeping fees.
This account could suit you if you’re a small business or sole trader who does most of your banking online and wants support managing your different business expenses.
You can open up to 10 business bank accounts to help you budget effectively and manage your cash flow. For example, you can have separate accounts for daily expenses, tax, GST and invoices. Plus, you can use the linked Visa Debit card for day-to-day transactions.
Unlike most business transaction accounts, Thriday lets you earn interest on the money in your account. You can earn 3.35% p.a.
The Thriday platform offers a range of extra tools to help automate your tax and GST obligations and make invoicing easier, however these are only available under a subscription which attracts a monthly fee of $29.95.
You also should keep in mind that Thriday doesn’t offer any bank branches, so if you prefer to do your business banking in person it may not suit you. However, you can deposit cash at participating Australia Post offices.
