Hello,

To open an account online, simply click the ‘Apply now’ option on Westpac’s site and complete the online application form. You’ll need to have some ID handy to verify your identity.

Thanks,

Alison

Hi Nutcha,

Thanks for reaching out.

Yes, that’s right. So long that you’re currently in Australia and have an Australian residential address. If you are overseas, there is a separate application process to follow and you may need to get assistance direct from Westpac to apply.

Cheers,

May

Hello,

Do you open a USD saving account or it can be only AUD? And if yes what are the fees?

If no, how can I change USD to AUD as a student in your bank? Or I can open a savings account for this currency (10 000$)?

Thanks
