Can I have a land line included in the package?
Hi Bob, Yes, many providers offer bundled plans that include both internet and home phone services
What is cost of adding a home phone_ handset exists!
Can we retain our home number?
Hey Graham,
I’m not sure exactly what you’re asking, but the cost of adding a home phone to a modern NBN plan is typically $10-$30 a month, depending on what kind of calls you want to be able to make.
As for handsets, generally you’ll source your own these days – anything you buy new will say if it’s NBN ready. Long gone are the days of the yellow Telstra wall phones!
Hope that helps!
Im currently on Buddy Telco NBN nbnâ„¢1000 but download speed is always under 200mpbs even when i stay next to the wifi router. Is there any thing i can do to get max download speed or if there is better provider?
Hi Kayden, that’s unfortunate to hear. You should reach out to Buddy Telco directly as there might be an issue with your hardware. If they can’t sort it out please reach out here again and I can help you find a better plan. Hope this helps!
I am primarily looking for a NbN internet service but can combine it with mobile phone plan if price is better. I want unlimited NBN with a 50 speed and mobile also unlimited calls and texts.
What can you do?
Hi Angela, you can look at the following providers that offer bundling discounts and relatively competitive prices: flip, TPG, Tangerine and amaysim. However, if your data needs are limited it might be best to compare mobile and internet plans separately to have the best chance of saving money.
You can compare NBN 50 plans here: https://www.finder.com.au/broadband-plans/nbn/compare-nbn-50-plans
And cheap mobile plans here (all come with unlimited calls and texts): https://www.finder.com.au/mobile-plans/cheap-mobile-plans
Hope this helps!
I currently have iinet’s nbn100Fttc liimitless plan and pay $89.99/month. I also pay $26/month for Netflix and $228/year for Optus Sport. Is there a better nbn deal whilst still achieving 100mbps download?
Hi Raff, Check out our 100MBps NBN plan comparison for some options – as I write this, several listed plans are under $90 a month, so you should be able to save purely by switching. Optus also discounts Optus Sport if you are an Optus customer ($120 a year rather than $229), so if that’s an important feature for you it would be worth looking at Optus plans specifically.
