Purchase rate
12.99% p.a.
Annual fee for the first year ($100 p.a. thereafter)
$0 p.a.

Our verdict

Offers a $0 annual fee in the first year and a 12.99% purchase rate, but no interest-free days for purchases.

The ANZ Business Low Rate Credit Card has the bank’s lowest annual fee and purchase interest rate in its business card range. Its 12.99% p.a. interest rate for purchases is at the low end of the scale for business credit cards in Australia. But unlike many other cards, it doesn't offer interest-free days on purchases. So, it's typically more suited to small and medium businesses that carry a balance from month-to-month.

Pros

  • $0 annual fee for the first year ($100 p.a. thereafter)
  • A low interest rate of 12.99% p.a. on purchases
  • Unauthorised Transactions Insurance, which protects your business against misuse of your cards

Cons

  • There is no interest-free period, so your spending attracts interest straight away
  • No extra perks like rewards or airport lounge passes

The ANZ Business Low Rate Credit Card gives you a way to manage business spending, with additional cards for employees, customisable spend limits and unauthorised transaction insurance. It also offers 24/7 account monitoring and worldwide emergency card replacement. While the first-year annual fee waiver saves you $100 p.a. on the annual fee that applies from the second year, it's important to consider how much value you'll get from this card's other features to justify the costs.
