Does this card earn points on ato payments?

Hi Rebecca,

I’ve checked the PDS and the specific information around ATO payments is: Points may be earnt at a different rate in respect of Government Charges and Taxation Payments. Refer to anz.com for the current earn rate bands and number of Points you currently earn per dollar spent on eligible purchases.

I tried navigating the ANZ website to confirm this exact earn rate, but it wasn’t immediately clear. Usually card providers promote the fact that they pay points on ATO payments, so I would assume that if you pay directly by your credit card to the ATO, you will likely earn no Qantas Points.

Hi Amy,

With the ANZ Qantas Business Rewards Credit Card, the Bonus Qantas points that I would get, can those be used only if I choose to fly with Qantas or does it apply to other Airline partners too.? If yes, which ones are included?

Regards,

Agam

Hi Agam,

Qantas has a range of airline partners, including Jetstar, Emirates and British Airways. You can redeem on partner airlines when redeeming Classic Rewards, but you can only book Qantas operated flights when redeeming Classic Plus fares.

Hope this helps!
