How to apply

You can apply for the Bank First Visa Platinum credit card online in around 10 minutes. You should check if you meet the eligibility criteria and that you have the necessary information to complete the application before you get started.

Eligibility criteria

  • Age. You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Residency. You must be a permanent Australian resident.

Card benefits

  • No foreign currency conversion fees on purchases. The Bank First Visa Platinum credit card does not charge a fee for transactions made online or overseas in a foreign currency.
  • Overseas travel insurance. You can save on an essential holiday cost with complimentary international travel insurance. This includes cover for overseas medical expenses, emergency dental expenses, flight cancellations, travel delays, missed connections, mugging and accidental death. Terms, conditions and exclusions apply.

  • Annual fee. This card charges a $99 annual fee.
  • Low variable interest rate. Purchases and balance transfers attract a 11.49% p.a. interest rate.

how do you apply for a credit? There is alot of reference questions but no new accounts buttons
