Types of credit cards from Bank of Melbourne
Bank of Melbourne low rate credit cards
The Bank of Melbourne Vertigo credit card offers a low variable interest rate on purchases and a relatively low annual fee that is competitive with other low rate credit cards. These features can help you save money if you don't pay your credit card in full every month.
Bank of Melbourne no annual fee credit cards
The Bank of Melbourne No Annual Fee Credit Card is designed to give you the flexibility of a credit card without having to worry about paying a yearly fee for it. As with most no annual fee credit cards, this card has a higher interest rate for purchases than a low rate credit card. But you can get interest-free days on purchases if you pay your monthly payment balance as listed on your statement by the due date.
Bank of Melbourne rewards credit cards
With a Bank of Melbourne Amplify credit card, you'll earn Amplify Points per $1 spent. Amplify is the rewards program for St.George, Bank of Melbourne and BankSA.
You can redeem your points for gift cards, retail items or travel rewards. You can also transfer your Amplify Points to Velocity Frequent Flyer or Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer.
Bank of Melbourne frequent flyer credit cards
Bank of Melbourne offers two credit cards that earn Qantas Points per $1 spent: the Bank of Melbourne Amplify Platinum Qantas and the Bank of Melbourne Amplify Signature Qantas.
With one of these cards, you'll need to choose the Amplify Qantas option and include your Qantas Frequent Flyer details when you apply. If you already have an Amplify credit card, you can switch to Amplify Qantas by calling the Bank of Melbourne Amplify Rewards centre on 1300 600 266.
Balance transfer offers with Bank of Melbourne credit cards
If you want to pay off an existing credit card balance with a bank other than Bank of Melbourne, St.George or BankSA, moving it to a Bank of Melbourne credit card with an introductory low or 0% balance transfer rate can help you save on interest and pay off the debt faster.
At the end of the introductory period, any remaining balance from the transfer will attract the card's variable cash advance rate. As this rate can be high, you'll get the most value from a balance transfer offer if you can pay it off during the introductory period.
Notify Bank of Melbourne that you want to do a balance transfer when you apply for a card.

When i balance transfer my credit card to bank of Melbourne can my partner and i make a joint application?
Hi Tiffy,
Thanks for your question.
Yes, Bank of Melbourne allows for a balance transfer to a joint credit card account. However, the amount to be transferred should not be from any of the credit cards issued by the Westpac Group (BankSA, Bank of Melbourne, St.George). Please note that with a Bank of Melbourne’s joint credit card account, you will be given individual cards under one account.
Cheers,
Anndy
