Hi Patrick,
The exchange rate for foreign purchases on this card is based on the prevailing Mastercard or Visa exchange rate at the time of the transaction. Both Mastercard and Visa exchange rates typically have a margin, meaning they are not based on the mid-market exchange rate and they make a profit on the exchange. Platforms like Wise give you a virtual and digital card you can use overseas (with your own money), which lets you hold over 40 currencies. Wise uses the mid-market rate for exchanges so you get the same rate that’s typically listed on Google, Bing and other search engines. Hope this helps!

Hi Bev,
Looking at Bendigo’s site it says you need to receive regular income from employment or superannuation. It doesn’t mention the aged pension.

If I deposit $10k cash before my travels so I’m in debit , and withdraw my cash is then a cash advance fee applicable?

Sarah Megginson Finder

Hi Manni,
Unfortunately cash advances usually attract a cash advance fee, even if your account has a positive balance. Usually this fee is 3-4% of the amount you withdraw. Hope this helps!

What is the minimum annual income required for this card & what credit limits are available to request please?

Hello Gail,
Some credit cards don’t list their minimum required income and credit limits. It depends on the applicant. The bank states that you need a regular income of some form.
The credit limit you’ll get approved for depends on your income and other factors (spending, debts etc.). The minimum credit limit is $3,000 so you’ll get approved for at least that amount, if approved.
