• Age. You must be at least 18 years old to apply.

Required documents

• Personal details. This includes your full name, date of birth, email address, residential address, marital status, number of dependents and contact number. You'll also need to provide a valid form of ID, such as your driver's licence, passport or Medicare card number.
• Frequent flyer details. During the application, you'll need to opt-in to Citi Qantas Rewards and provide your Qantas Frequent Flyer number. If you're not already a member of the frequent flyer program, here's how you can join for free (instead of paying the standard joining fee of $99.50).
• Employment details. This includes your current job title, salary and your employer's contact details. If you're self-employed, you'll need to provide your accountant's contact details. You'll also need to provide documents that verify your income, such as recent payslips or tax assessment notices from the ATO.
• Financial details. This includes any additional forms of income, pensions, savings or other assets, as well as existing debts, loans and cards. You'll also need to provide details of your regular household expenses such as rent or mortgage payments, utility bills and groceries.
• Balance transfer details. If you plan to transfer a balance to this card, you'll need to provide details of the existing account(s).

• My Cashback. You can receive personalised cashback offers via the My Cashback hub in the Citi Mobile App when you use your credit card.
• International travel insurance. The Citi Premier Qantas Card offers complimentary international travel insurance when you use it to purchase your return overseas travel tickets. Your spouse and/or dependent children can also be included on your cover when they meet the eligibility requirements.
• Priority Pass airport lounge access. This card offers complimentary digital Priority Pass membership – including 2 complimentary lounge visits per year.
• Luxury Escapes discount. Until 1 March 2026, you can get up to 15% off (up to $250) on Limited Time LUX Exclusive hotel offers and 10% off on international tours when you pay with your Citi credit card through the Luxury Escapes website or app.
• 10% off selected hotels with Expedia or Wotif. You'll get a 10% discount on selected hotels booked through Expedia and Wotif when you pay with your Citi credit card before 31 January 2026 and stay before 30 June 2026.
• Personal concierge service. Gain access to a 24/7 concierge service that can help with anything from restaurant reservations, to buying theatre tickets, ordering flowers and more.
• Purchase insurances. This card offers purchase protection insurance to cover the cost of loss, theft or damage, as well as extended warranty insurance for eligible purchases made with the Citi Premier Qantas credit card.
• Complimentary mobile phone insurance. If you use your Citi Premier Qantas Card to pay for your phone on a contract, you can get cover for your eligible mobile phone or smartphone from accidental damage and theft for up to $1,000 per claim (up to $1,650 per year).
• Mobile payment technology. This card is eligible for both Samsung Pay, Google Pay and Apple Pay, which allows you to make contactless payments using a compatible Samsung, Android or Apple device.

• Interest-free days on purchases. You'll get up to 44 days interest-free on purchases if you pay your balance in full by the due date on each statement. Note that interest-free days do not apply if you're carrying a balance from a balance transfer.
• Currency conversion rate. A 3.4% fee applies for transactions made in a foreign currency overseas or online.
• Balance transfer rate. If you have an existing debt to pay, you can transfer it fee-free to this credit card to keep all of your payments in one place. However, it will be charged at the cash advance rate of 22.99% p.a. Citi allows you to transfer up to 80% of your credit limit from Australian-issued store cards, personal loans, or credit cards not issued under the Citi brand. Please note you won't earn any points on balance transfers.
