The Coles No Annual Fee Mastercard was highly commended in the 2024 Finder Awards Best No Annual Fee Rewards Credit Card category. It earns the equivalent of 0.5 Flybuys points per $1 on eligible purchases even with brands that aren’t already Flybuys partners. But with a 20.74% p.a. interest rate for purchases, you'll typically get the most value from this card if you can pay off what you spend by the due date on each statement to get up to 55 interest-free days on purchases.

Our verdict
Offers 10,000 bonus Flybuys points (worth $50 Flybuys dollars), with no annual fee ever.
The Coles No Annual Fee Mastercard is one of the few credit cards offering both rewards and no annual fee. Right now, it offers 10,000 bonus Flybuys points when you apply online by 03 March 2025 and spend $3,000 on eligible purchases in the first 3 months from card approval. That’s enough points to redeem $50 Flybuys dollars for shopping at Coles Supermarkets, Kmart, Target and other partners. Or, you could convert them to 5,000 Velocity Points for frequent flyer rewards. This isn’t the biggest bonus points offer on the market, but it is competitive for a card with an ongoing $0 annual fee, because they rarely offer bonus points.

Hi Govind, Cards which offer any form of lounge access typically have higher fees – I’ve never seen this option with a low or zero-fee card. Our guide to cards with Priority Pass access highlights the options available in Australia. Hope this helps.

Why do I need to give an accountant’s number when applying for a credit card. I don’t have one.

Hi Vera,
When applying for a credit card, you need to provide proof of income. Usually this is in the form of payslips or, if you’re self-employed, a letter from your accountant. You don’t normally need to provide your accountant’s phone number. If you experience further issues with this, it might be worth contacting Coles directly. Best of luck!

Yes that’s right, using this card you’ll earn FlyBuys points on all eligible purchases. The earn rate is 1 point for every $2 spent, and there is no cap.
Hope this helps!

Hi,
Can you please suggest me a credit card with priority pass for lounge access worldwide. Costing very low annual fee or zero annual fee.
Thanks!
