Vertigo allows transfer of balances from up to 3 cards. Note that cards from Westpac, St.George, BankSA or Bank of Melbourne aren’t eligible.

Can I pay my car loan with this balance transfer card. thanks

The Vertigo T&Cs only list credit cards and store credit cards as eligible for balance transfer, so a car loan is not going to qualify, unfortunately.

My wife is retired and receives regular monthly pension from her super. Would she qualify for a credit card?

Sarah Megginson Finder
July 16, 2024
Hi John, It depends on the level of income, your expenses, her other debts, her credit rating, and what type of card she’s applying for. It might be best to start with a card with a lower limit, as she is more likely to be approved for a lower limit than a higher limit.
You can contact St George for personal advice about whether she is likely to be approved, and you can review some other card options here.
Hope this helps!

Can the balance transfer be sent to my savings account by St George, and I will then pay off my current credit cards?

Hi Nick,
No, with a balance transfer the funds will be sent directly to your nominated credit cards to pay the balance down. For you to receive the funds in your savings account, it would be treated as a cash advance and interest would begin accruing immediately.

Hi there I have a few credit cards open and I was wondering is it possible to transfer balance owing from multiple cards through to just 1 with you?
