How to apply

You can apply for the Westpac Flex Card in around 10 minutes by filling in a secure application form on the Westpac website. To get started, make sure you meet the following eligibility criteria:

Eligibility criteria

  • Existing customers only. This card is only available for existing Westpac customers.
  • Regular income. You must have a regular income that Westpac can verify.

Card benefits

  • No interest. This credit card does not charge interest, ever.
  • Digital card. The Westpac Flex Card will be added to your Westpac app once your application is approved. You can also add it to your Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay mobile wallet – or to a fitness tracker that has Fitbit Pay or Garmin Pay. You can also request a plastic card if you want one for your physical wallet.

Rates and fees

  • Monthly fee. The Westpac Flex Card charges a $10 monthly fee, which is waived if you pay the closing balance by the due date on each statement.
  • Minimum repayments. You'll need to pay at least $40 by the due date on each statement to keep using the card. You can choose your repayment frequency, either once or twice monthly.

Do all stores accept flex card

Hi Belinda,

Yes, the Westpac Flex can be used at any store that accepts Mastercard, which is most businesses in Australia (unless they don’t accept card payments at all). Mastercard is also accepted in over 200 countries and territories around the world. I hope that helps.
