Hi Damien,
I just checked Westpac’s site and tried the application process – it says no balance transfers on this one.

Hi Manni, As the Westpac Lite card doesn’t allow advances, you might not be able to use extra credit added to the card. In general, ATM fees will apply to withdrawals outside Australia with this card – the exact fees will depend on the ATM operator.

What do self-funded retirees need to do to get a credit card?

Sarah Megginson Finder
July 17, 2024
Hi Stephen,
The bank will want to see evidence of your income in order to ascertain that you have capacity to repay the debt. This might be in the form of rental statements from real estate agents if you have investment properties; distribution statements showing money being paid from funds and allocated pensions; bank statements showing interest etc.
Hope this helps!
