The Finder Retail Awards recognises Australia's favourite brands across a huge number of categories. We survey thousands of real Australians to understand how they feel about their recent product purchases, and use that information to reward the most popular brands.
These are the best brands for home appliances in the 2021/22 Awards.
Best rated robot vacuum cleaner brand: LG
LG came recommended by 100% of customers surveyed when it comes to its robot vacuum cleaners. LG also received great scores in all categories, allowing them to take the win.

Best rated washing machine brand: Bosch
When it comes to washing machines, Bosch is hard to beat. In addition to receiving a 100% recommendation rating, Bosch scored well on all metrics receiving particularly high scores for features and functions, and washing performance.

Best rated clothes dryer brand: Haier
In a back-to-back win, Haier has been named Australia's best rated clothes dryer brand. Performance and reliability and value for money were among the features that make customers love Haier's clothes dryer. The brand also received a respectable 97% recommendation rating.

Best rated refrigerator brand: LG
LG topped the scoreboard for cooling performance, features and functions, and design whilst also receiving impressive scores across all other metrics. LG also comes recommended as the refrigerator brand of choice by a whopping 98% of its customers that were surveyed.

Best rated coffee machine brand: DeLonghi
When it comes to kick starting your day the right coffee machine can make all the difference. Delonghi scored well across the board as well as receiving a 97% recommendation rating, showing why its customers love Delonghi.

Best rated kettle brand: Russell Hobbs
Russell Hobbs proved unbeatable when it comes to Australia's best rated kettle brand. In addition to receiving solid scores across all metrics, 95% of its customers would recommend Russell Hobbs' kettles.

As multi category winners in this year's awards, Samsung claimed the title for Best Rated Microwave brand. Samsung scored particularly well cooking performance and ease of use whilst receiving admirable scores across the remaining metrics.

A quality appliance is the key to any good slice of toast and Aussies have made it clear that they love to make their brekky with Breville. This brand proved to be an all-rounder, receiving excellent scores across all metrics, as well as a 93% recommendation rating from its customers.

Consistently rating well for ease of use, performance, and value for money, Australians have rated Kmart as the best blender brand for this year's award.

100% of surveyed Australians who had purchased an ALDI food processor would recommend the brand, which helped ALDI secure this year's best food processor Finder Award. They also rated well for ease of cleaning, safety and value for money.

Ziegler & Brown has won this year's Finder Award for best BBQ brand in Australia. With the highest cooking preformance result of any brand, and strong scores across the board, it's not a surprise it was recommended by 94% of surveyed Aussies.

How we chose the winners
The 2021/22 Finder Retail Awards recognise brand sentiment from customer feedback on different retail product categories. Finder worked with data and insights company, Dynata to conduct thousands of customer interviews around their product purchasing history and satisfaction with their purchased products.
