What types of transfers can you carry out with Hai Ha Money Transfer?

Hai Ha Money Transfer offers one-off transfers to recipients in countries all around the world. If you’re sending money to Vietnam you can send money for:

  • Pickup from an agent location in Vietnam
  • Delivery to your recipient’s address
  • Deposit into your recipient’s bank account

Pickup (of USD only) and bank deposit are the options available for transfers from Australia to Cambodia, while transfers to anywhere else in the world can only be done via bank deposit.

If you need help with a transaction, phone, email and mail customer support is offered. You can also visit one of Hai Ha’s 12 agents or 17 branches around Australia for assistance.

What's the registration and transfer process?

Hai Ha Money Transfer allows you to send transfers over the phone or by visiting a branch or agent location. In order to lodge a transfer you’ll need to provide your personal details (name, contact information, bank account details etc) and your transfer method of choice (if sending money to Vietnam or Cambodia). You’ll also need to determine the cash pickup location or the address for the delivery of your funds.

For bank transfers you can fill out a bank deposit form. This requires you to provide:

  • Your name
  • Your email address and phone number
  • Your date of birth
  • The Hai Ha bank account you are transferring funds to Hai Ha has accounts with Bank of Queensland, Suncorp Bank and Bendigo Bank
  • Your deposit method - internet transfer, cash deposit or in-branch transfer
  • The amount deposited and the date it was deposited
  • Your recipient’s name, address, phone number and bank account details
  • The currency you would like to send

To send money via bank deposit you will need to visit a Hai Ha branch or agent location in person and provide proof of identity. Once you have paid for your transfer and any transaction fees, you will be able to notify the receiver of your transaction details.
