How to make a claim
Australia Post home insurance is provided by QBE. You can lodge a claim online, via the QBE website. You'll need your policy number, details of what happened, and information on who was involved. You can also call QBE on 13 70 11.
The process will look like this:
- Prepare your policy number, details of the incident, photos of the damage, proof of ownership like receipts or bank statements, and any repair invoices.
- A dedicated claims officer will guide you through the process, which may include appointing a QBE Preferred Loss Adjuster to assess the damage. They will inform you of any excess payments and discuss repair or replacement options.
- If repairs are needed, QBE can provide qualified builders to restore your property to standard, managing the process and payments, minus any applicable excess.
- In cases where the property is deemed a total loss, QBE will settle the claim after deducting any excesses and premiums.

Does the 30% off get applied automatically or do I have to enter the code at checkout (no option).
I have contacted Auspost they claim it might be an offer that Finder.com.au has on.
