How to make a claim

Chubb home insurance must be purchased through an insurance broker. When lodging a claim, it's recommended that the policyholder contacts their broker. For after hours emergencies where the broker can't be contacted, call 1800 726 226.

Chubb home insurance complaints information

According to data from the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA), a total of 50 complaints were lodged about Chubb's home and content insurance in the second half of 2023. This is higher than many other medium-sized insurers, including AIG (10) and Assetinsure (11). However, it's unclear if these complaints were about Chubb's previous home insurance policy, which was withdrawn from the market in early 2024.
