Apple's unveiled the iPhone 15 lineup and while the camera looks great it's again more expensive.

It's that time of the year again where Apple enthusiasts will be rushing to decide if the iPhone 15, AirPods Pro (2nd gen) and the Apple Watch Series 9 or Ultra Watch 2 are worth upgrading to.

As was rumoured, Apple's ditching the Lightning cable in favour of the USB-C on the iPhone 15 range.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will show off the Dynamic Display Island, which we first saw with the iPhone 14 Pro models, a 48 megapixel main camera and the power of the A16 Bionic and a brand new design.

The iPhone 15 Pro models will boast titanium for a durable and light finish with the new A17 Pro, the fastest chip ever in a smartphone.

iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus

USB-C comes to iPhone 15 range, ending the Lightning cable's 11-year-run.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus get the A16 Bionic chip, the famous Dynamic Island notch and 48MP main camera, TrueDepth front camera with autofocus and 4K cinematic mode.

You'll also see improved portraits on the iPhone 15 via machine learning. Portrait mode will be enabled when your camera detects people in the shot or even cats and dogs.

The second generation Ultra Wideband will enable the iPhone 15 to connect to other devices from up to 3 times farther away. This chip also opens up a completely new way to use precision finding on iPhone 15 to find your friends.

iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max

The iPhone 15 Pro models introduce the A17 Pro, a brand new GPU to improve performance and efficiency, running complex applications and adding new rendering features.

Apple is also using ceramic shield and Grade 5 titanium to build the iPhone 15 Pro models, an alloy that has more tensile strength than titanium itself. Apparently it's the same alloy used on the Mars rover.

These are also the lightest and thinnest Pro models to date without compromising on display.

The rumours were also bang on about Apple introducing the customisable action bar. For example, with a simple press, you can start voice memos to quickly record a new idea or launch the camera. Every interaction will give you visual feedback with the Dynamic Island.

iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max finishes: black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium, and natural titanium.

iPhone 15 Pro also has the new USBC connector. The USB 3 cable is up to 20 times faster than USB 2, enabling much higher transfer speeds.

According to Apple, the iPhone 15 Pro has its best camera system yet, equivalent of 7 camera lenses in your pocket.

It features a more advanced 48 megapixel main camera with an even larger sensor than the iPhone 15. The camera includes a new nanoscale coating to reduce lens flare.

This will bring high resolution to everyday photos, enables more focal lengths and as better low light performance for portraits in night mode. You'll also be able to take advantage of spatial videos and 5x optical zoom that uses a telescoping lens to give users a longer focal length with greater stabalisation.
