Kogan Mobile iPhone plans: How they compare + what to watch out for
Kogan Mobile's selling refurbished iPhones on a plan in case you want to avoid buying a new handset outright.
You can now get an Apple-approved refurbished iPhone XS, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 or iPhone 13 on a phone plan from Kogan Mobile starting from $15 a month.
There's 2 ways to go about it. You can either sign up to an "own and pay" plan or choose the "subscription" plan instead.
In both instances, you only need to pay off the cost of the device each month and won't need to pair your phone with a mobile plan from Kogan (unless you want to).
iPhone plans from Kogan Mobile
With the own and pay plan, you sign up and pay off the cost of your handset over 24 months.
It's the only contract period available via Kogan Mobile although you do have the option to buy outright.
On the flipside, Kogan Mobile's subscription plan works more like a lease, with slightly lower monthly costs.
You sign up for a 24-month contract at the end of which you'll need to return the phone, or you can upgrade it in the last 6 months of your contract.

Are Kogan Mobile's iPhone plans worth it?
According to Kogan Mobile, the iPhones will have minimal signs of wear and a battery that has at least 80% capacity.
You'll need to decide if that's something you're okay with, whether you plan to own the phone or lease it.
