Summary
Get up to $1,500,000 of cover with Guardian Life Insurance and receive policy features for families that can’t be found in some other competitors.
- A great option for parents: unlike many other brands we compare, Guardian has a child trauma option. Children's cover typically costs $9.52 and payouts of up to $50,000 may be available.
- Guardian Life Insurance's parent company Hannover has an average claim turnaround time of just 2.2 months for death cover – lower than the industry average of 2.9 months.
- Unlike brands such as NobleOak and AAMI, Guardian's life policies aren't fully underwritten which could put off some.
- There's no future insurability benefit with Guardian. Future insurability is a policy feature that automatically increases your cover benefit after certain life events.

- Proof of the age of the insured person
- Proof of the claimants identity
- Proof of your relationship to the insured person
- Original insurance policy document and policy schedule

Finder Score - Life Insurance
Life Insurance is a little complicated and a lot overwhelming. That's why we made the Finder Score, to make it easier to compare Life Insurance products against each other. Our experts analysed over 20 products and gave each one a score between 1 and 10.
But a higher score doesn't always mean a product is better for you. Your situation is unique, so your policy choice will be too. Don't think of Finder Score as the final word, but as a good place to start your life insurance comparison.
