Netflix Australia vs Netflix US TV shows library comparison

Netflix US no longer dominates Netflix Australia when it comes to content, but what is it you're still missing out on?

When Netflix first launched Down Under back in 2015, Aussies used to complain "Why does America have this, but we don't?" or even go as far as using a VPN to get the US library.

But that's no longer really the case. Now almost 9 years later the landscape has evolved and there's now an abundance of different streaming services. Plus rather than Netflix being the home of everything they now mostly focus on their own originals which means there isn't the same variance of titles in each library.

As of December 2023 Netflix Australia has 68 more shows than America does. It also has 370 odd more movies to watch in Australia than in the US.
