Get rewarded for your spending

It's a good time to sign up to rewards credit cards since you'll be doing a lot of shopping soon. So you can reach your minimum spend faster and get them rewards!

A budget is your best friend

Set yourself a budget for Christmas shopping and other expenses. Track how much you're spending even when using a credit card so you don't overspend.

Sales aren't always what they seem

Do your homework on Christmas shopping before you buy! A 'sale' in-store doesn't necessarily mean that it's cheaper than buying online.

Make the most of your big shop

You can get 10% off one monthly shop at Woolworths AND 10% off one monthly shop at Big W when you sign up to Woolworths Everyday Extra. It costs $7/month or $35 for the first year, so if you signed up in December and used both 10% discounts you could save a LOT on groceries and presents.

Save on shipping

Buy gifts for family overseas directly from online shops in their country and choose gift wrap online (don't buy here, wrap and then send internationally)
