Refer a Friend Promotion Terms and Conditions

  1. Subject to these terms and conditions, an existing Finder Member ("Referring Member") can receive a reward ("Reward") for each successful referral who both activates the Finder App and successfully signs up to Finder Wallet ("New Member"). The New Member will also receive a Reward. The value of the Reward is published in the Finder App. The New Member is eligible to be a Referring Member.
  2. By taking part in this promotion, the Referring Member and the New Member agree to these Terms and Conditions. These terms and conditions are to be read in conjunction with the Finder App terms and conditions and privacy policy.
  3. Finder Wallet Pty Ltd (ABN: 11 149 012 653) ("Finder Wallet") provides cryptocurrency exchange services, and other services as notified in the Finder App from time to time, and to be eligible for this promotion, the New Member must have accepted the Finder Wallet Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Risk Notice.
  4. The "Refer a friend" promotion starts and ends at the Time and Date published in the Finder App ("Promotion").
  5. Finder Wallet wishes to reward each Referring Member who refers a New Member to activate their copy of the Finder App and successfully sign up for a Finder Wallet account. In this agreement, we describe the person making the referral as the "Referring Member", and the individual who has been referred and successfully activates a copy of the Finder App and signs up for a Finder Wallet account as a "New Member". A New Member is a friend or family member of an individual who has an existing Finder App account. Finder Wallet reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to exclude any customer from being considered a New Member, if they for example have or had an existing Finder Wallet account, or they do not pass Finder Wallet's know your customer ("KYC") checks or do not provide information in a timely manner that has been requested by Finder Wallet.
  6. If a New Member activates:
    a) the Finder App; and
    b) a Finder Wallet account,
    directly from the Referring Member's referral, Finder Wallet will credit the Finder Wallet account of:
    c) the Referring Member with the Reward; and
    d) the New Member with the Reward,
    within 7 days of Finder Wallet confirming the successful activation of the New Member's Finder Wallet account. The Referring Member and New Member must have a Finder Wallet account to receive the Reward.
  7. Both the Referring Member and New Member will be eligible for the promotion if the New Member activates the Finder App and successfully applies for a Finder Wallet account directly by clicking the Referring Member's unique referral link ("Referral Link") (each a "Referral").
  8. To activate the Finder App, the New Member will have to provide an email address or phone number. To activate a Finder Wallet account, the New Member will have to successfully pass Finder Wallet's Know Your Customer ID verification checks.
  9. The New Member understands and agrees to Finder informing the Referring Member of the new Finder Wallet account creation by the New Member.
  10. Any funds credited to either the Referring Member or New Member under this promotion will expire after a period of 7 days if not used. Any funds credited cannot be transferred to another party.
  11. Only one Finder Wallet account can be opened by either the Referring Member or New Member, and the Referring Member cannot refer themselves as a New Member, for example by using a different email address or telephone number.
  12. You must not modify, alter or use the app in a way not intended by us. We may, in our sole discretion, terminate this agreement with you at any time, without prior notice if we reasonably suspect you may breach, or have breached, our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to freeze your account until our investigation into the matter is completed.
  13. Failure to use the Referral Link according to these Terms and Conditions or not in line with the intent of the Promotion, including but not limited to, publishing, advertising or selling the Referral Link or any conduct on your part which is designed to undermine the intended operation of the Promotion, is prohibited and may constitute fraud.
  14. A Referral will not be accepted if the Referral Link is incomplete, invalid or does not otherwise match our records.
  15. If we become aware, or have reason to suspect, that you are fraudulently misusing the Referral Link and/or have breached these Terms and Condition, you will become ineligible to receive any Reward, and, where we have already provided you with a Reward, you agree to refund us any amount already paid to you by us.
  16. We reserve the right to validate the eligibility of any Referral, and may, at our sole discretion, determine any Referral to be ineligible.
  17. Finder Wallet may end this promotion early, or change the terms and conditions without prior notice to the Referring Member or New Member.
  18. Finder Wallet is not responsible for any tax consequences to the Referring Member or New Member arising from this promotion.
  19. This promotion is open to residents of Australia only. Finder Wallet may verify if either the Referring Member or the New Member is eligible for this promotion in its sole discretion.
  20. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New South Wales.
