Core Strategy | High | This option has a balance of growth and defensive assets with a minimum suggested holding timeframe of over 10 years. There is a focus on growth assets (between 60-75%) including 35% overseas shares, 23.5% Australian shares and 10% property. |
Balanced | Medium to High | This option is designed to be the default option for the Rest Pension and held for a minimum timeframe of 6+ years. There's a balance of growth and defensive assets, with a mix of Australian (16%) and overseas (24%) shares with a higher percentage of cash (12%) than the Core Strategy. |
