Which Travel insurance policy which covers 100% cancellation for any reason?

Father in law who is 89 years old can possibly go at any time. We planned for 15 days trip to Korea and Japan in late March 2019. Can we have this insurance before paying the tours trip in full at the end of this month?

What is the premium for such a policy? our party is for 2, 59 and 60 years old.

      Hi Bing,

Thanks for getting in touch with Finder. I hope all is well with you. I’m sorry to hear about your father-in-law.

As of this time, Cover-More starts offering cancel-for-any-reason travel insurance. They are one of the insurers who have clearly stated that they have a policy that allows you to cancel your trip for any reason. Aside from that, you can also check other insurers who might be able to provide you with the same coverage.

However, it is worth noting that most insurers cover trip cancellation due to a close relative’s illness or death. So, it is just a matter of confirming with your chosen insurer.

For this reason, what I can suggest is for you to compare travel insurers and get a quote. Once you found the right insurer, then you can directly get in touch with them and discuss your situation.

Regarding the premium, I can’t provide you an exact figure. However, you can use our quote engine to search for the type of cover you need and obtain an estimate of how much your policy may cost.

I hope this helps. Should you have further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach us out again.

      Have a wonderful day!

      Cheers,
      Joshua
