Finder is giving away a $50 Woolworths store Bonus eGift card to electricity customer that switches their residential or business Electricity plan through the Finder Energy Switching Service. The gift card will expire 3 months from the issue date.

CIMET (on behalf of Finder) will provide you with the $50 Woolworths eGift card within approximately 90 to 120 calendar days to your registered email.

You will receive your eGift card via email from giftcard@woolworths.com.au or no-reply@giftcard.woolworths.com.au

This promotion is only open to Australian residents aged 18 and over, and starts 20 June 2023 and ends 11:59pm (AEST) 20 July 2023 ("Promotion Period").

The Terms and Conditions for the Promotion follow below.

Terms & Conditions

  1. The Promoter is Hive Empire Pty Ltd ( ABN: 18 118 785 121) ("Finder") of Level 10, 99 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000. Finder offers customers the ability to compare and directly switch electricity ("Energy Plans") through its website ("Energy Switching Service").
  2. The $50 Woolworths gift card available under this Promotion is provided by Finder and distributed by its energy partner, CIMET Sales Pty Ltd ("CIMET") and expires 3 months from the issue date.
  3. The Finder Group Privacy & Cookies Policy and the CIMET Privacy Policy also applies to this promotion. The Woolworths Bonus Store eGift Card Terms apply to the gift card.
  4. If you decide to directly switch to another energy plan using Finder's Energy Switching Service, please refer to the Energy Plan provider's terms and conditions and privacy policy as well as the Energy Plan's fact sheet(s) before making a decision. These Terms and Conditions are separate to and do not form part of the terms and conditions of the Energy Plan providers and their Energy Plans. For clarity, Finder and CIMET are not responsible for and does not supply the energy or any services under the Energy Plans. You must contact the Energy Plan provider directly for more information.
  5. Information on how to participate in the Promotion form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  6. The Promotion is only available to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to participate.
  7. To be eligible to participate in the Promotion, you will need the following:
    • Directly switch to and successfully connect an electricity plan available through the Finder Energy Switching Service during the Promotion Period through the promotion site. Currently available in NSW, ACT, SA, VIC, parts of QLD. Not available in Ergon Area (QLD), NT WA and embedded networks or non-quotable meters, and
    • Remain with your new Electricity plan selected on Finder Energy Switching Services for a minimum of 30 days.
    • This offer is available for all transfer connections and move-in connections.
    • This offer is available for all existing customers of Simply, AGL, ActewAGL and Energy Australia customers to upgrade their existing plan.
  8. Provided that you have maintained the electricity plan with the energy provider, CIMET will provide you with a $50 Woolworths gift card. If the request for a switch or connection cannot be completed or a request is made for the cancellation of the electricity plan within the first 30 days from the date of activation, then the transaction will be deemed invalid and no gift card will be issued.
  9. CIMET will provide you with the $50 Woolworths gift card within approximately 90 to 120 calendar days after the date on which you have accepted the terms and conditions of the energy provider's Energy Plan ("Acceptance Date"). ") if it is successfully activated and you remain at least 30 days with the chosen plan.
  10. The Woolworths gift card will expire 3 months from the issue date. The Woolworths Bonus eGift Card Terms apply to the gift card.
  11. There is a limit of one $50 Woolworths gift card per household.
  12. The Promoter reserves the right to close the Promotion without warning.
  13. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify your eligibility and to disqualify you from participating in the Promotion if you are deemed to be ineligible in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  14. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
  15. Any cost associated with participating in the Promotion is your sole responsibility.
  16. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following:
    • any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control);
    • any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
    • any claim of the promotional code that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; or (e) any tax liability incurred by you.
  17. The laws of the state of New South Wales govern the Promotion.
  18. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and suppliers. Participation in this Promotion is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning you. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
  19. You acknowledge that:
    • Finder does not compare all providers in the market and not all plans made available from providers are compared in the Energy Switching Service,
    • Comparison made in the Energy Switching Service are limited to providers and plans that can be directly switching to using Finder's Energy Switching Service,
    • The availability of Energy Plans may change from time to time,
    • If the convenience of directly switching is not important to you, please visit Finder's main energy comparison website, which may contain different plans, rates and providers

Woolworths Gift Card Terms and Conditions

  1. Woolworths Group Ltd ABN 88 000 014 675 is the issuer of the Woolworths Store Bonus eGift Card, but is not the promoter of the offer, nor responsible for fulfillment of the offer terms.
  2. Bonus Store eGift Cards have a fixed term expiry as displayed on the front of the gift card and are redeemable in-store and online at Woolworths Supermarket stores only.
  3. Gift Cards are valid for 3 months from the issue date and Gift Cards are not reloadable or redeemable for cash. The issue date can be checked on the voucher link received through email.
  4. Finder and Woolworths or Cimet will not replace expired, lost, stolen, or deleted Bonus Store eGift Cards.
  5. Finder and Woolworths or Cimet would not honour the Woolworths Store Bonus eGift Card if it was not redeemed within the timeline.
  6. Check your Spam/junk email if you have not received Woolworths Store Bonus eGift Card in your inbox within 90-120 days after successfully switching your energy.
