If I hit kangaroo in friends car but due to being on pension can’t afford gap straight away, how long do I have to put claim in through allianz ?
Hi Lisa,
Thanks for reaching out.
Generally, the insurer’s claims team will advise the policy owner when they will need to pay an excess which could be upfront or as a deduction from the claims settlement. I suggest you request the policy owner contact Allianz directly to enquire about the claims process and excess payment.
Cheers,
Liezl
Hi there!
With Allianz car insurance, am I only covered in Australia or anywhere? I am thinking of a road trip all the way to Germany.
Hi Holger!
Thanks for the comment.
Allianz Car Insurance cover options such as Comprehensive International Single/Duo, Multi-Trip Single and Basic Single/Duo include overseas emergency medical assistance and emergency medical and hospital expenses.
You may contact them directly to know more or read their Product Disclosure Statement located on their website.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Jonathan
As a non resident with 9 years plus NCB from U.K., awaiting permanent residence visa is it possible to get fully comprehensive insurance
Hi Barry,
Thanks for getting in touch. Unfortunately, overseas visitors and non-residents are not eligible for comprehensive cover and are only able to get third party options such as CTP.
Cheers,
Richard
