    Price

Of over 30 brands compared in the 2023 Finder Car Insurance Awards, ANZ was the most expensive. On average, its policies cost $2,223 a year — significantly higher than the average. Although it's worth noting that ANZ's policy benefits and limits are particularly generous and the best car insurance for some drivers may depend on more than price. For those who are looking for a cheap car insurance policy, it may not be suitable.

Due to ANZ no longer offering online quotes, it wasn't eligible for analysis in the 2024 car insurance awards.
