Pros

  • Its policies are issued by Allianz – one of Australia's most well-known and trusted insurers.
  • You get a 10% discount when you buy a comprehensive policy online.
  • Its comprehensive option goes further than other insurers – for example, you can get a $100 per day limit, up to 30 days for a rental car if your vehicle is stolen.

Cons

  • You may be able to get a cheaper policy elsewhere e.g. with Budget Direct or AAMI.
  • It doesn't offer third party fire and theft insurance.
  • Like most insurers, you'll need to pay extra to remove the basic excess for windscreen replacement or repairs.
