      Hello Keshav,
      thanks for the question.

Your best bet is to contact HSBC directly and request to find out the status of your application. They’ll be able to tell you up-to-date information about what stage the application is at, and whether or not there’s any further information you should supply.

      I hope this helps,
      Marc.

Hello. I very recently applied for a HSBC credit card (on line offer) and have been approved, only to find out, much to my disappointment, that there is no branch close to where i live or work for making repayments. I called the 132152 number to have this clarified. So, cancelled the application.

Do you have a facility for making transactions at Australia Post?

      Hi, Marina.

      Thanks for your question.

You can pay your HSBC credit card at an Australia Post outlet. You can make cash or EFTPOS payments over the counter and make cheque payments over the counter. Please allow one business day for EFTPOS payments and up to five business days for cheque payments.

      I hope this helps.

I would like to know what the “eligible” purchase is to earn the 35000 bonus points.

      AvatarFinder
      JacobOctober 18, 2013Finder

      Hi Kay,

      Thanks for your question.

You may earn the bonus points offered by HSBC on eligible purchases that exclude interest-free promotions, balance transfers, business expenses, cash advances, fees or charges, any disputed transactions, BPAY payments, and any government fee or charge.

Before applying, please ensure that you meet all the eligibility criteria and read through the details of the needed requirements as well as the relevant Product Disclosure Statements/Terms and Conditions when comparing your options before making a decision on whether it is right for you.

      I hope this helps.

      Cheers,
      Jacob

      Hi Karl.

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

This can be done easily enough. Please contact HSBC over the phone to request a credit limit increase. You can also do this through your internet banking facility, there should be an option to increase your credit limit once you’ve logged in.

Thanks for your question and let us know if you need further information.

I already have a current HSBC cc – and would have an excellent cc rating as I have now successfully paid off a previous transfer amount and the balance is back to 0 end of this month. Can transfer another small balance from another card without having to reapply for another card with HSBC?

      AvatarFinder
      JacobJune 17, 2013Finder

      Hi Jill,

      Thanks for your question.

If you want the promotional balance transfer rate you see on our website, this is for new customers who are electing to transfer a balance at the time of applying for the card. You can transfer a balance from a non-HSBC credit card to an existing HSBC credit card by filling out a balance transfer request form – it can be found online – but you will receive a different rate than the balance transfer promotional rate you see on our site. You may also be able to check other balance transfer credit cards.

      Regards,
      Jacob
