Hot off the heels of the official Donald Trump memecoin, which saw billions of dollars of trading volume within hours of launching, Melania Trump has now also launched her own official memecoin.

Launched on the Solana network, the MELANIA memecoin is currently trading on a number of crypto exchanges like CoinSpot, Bitget and KuCoin, as well as decentralised exchanges like Raydium and Meteora.

1. How to buy MELANIA via a crypto exchange

You can now buy MELANIA directly via a range of crypto exchanges. Follow the steps below to get started:

  1. Compare exchanges. MELANIA originally launched on Solana but is now tradeable on a number of regular exchanges.
  2. Sign up for an account. After you've found an exchange, you'll need to create an account and verify your identity using an ID document.
  3. Add a payment method. Once you've been verified, it's time to set up a payment method. You can normally either deposit Australian dollars via bank transfer or buy crypto directly using a debit or credit card.

2. How to buy MELANIA via decentralised exchanges

You can also buy MELANIA directly via a decentralised exchange (DEX) like Raydium or Orca on the Solana network by following these steps:

  1. Create a Solana wallet. If you don't already have one, you'll need to create a Solana wallet. You can use Phantom or another software wallet.
  2. Purchase crypto. You'll need SOL or USDC in order to buy MELANIA. The easiest way to do so may be using a crypto exchange. You can compare crypto exchanges below that offer SOL below.
