Hi Pauline, There are other mobile plans available with more data for around that cost, such as the TPG Small which is $12.50 a month. You can compare plans on our main prepaid guide – a simple prepaid plan including data might be a better match for your needs than a more comprehensive mobile broadband plan. Hope this helps.
5G is available in my area but all the plans say they are not available. Can I ask why?.
Hi Paul, Mobile coverage maps are only ever an approximation – they often won’t cover down to the level of a specific street.
I presently have a plan but only with 3g and my supplier keeps requesting a update of my Apple i phone to 4g but will not let me continue to receive a Paper Bill each month. why?
Hi Russell, As we’re a review and comparison site, we’re not able to provide customer service. Your best bet is to contact your plan provider directly and enquire about the paper bill. Best of luck!
what is the difference between 4g and 4gx
4GX doubles the 4G bandwidth so you can use more devices. Hope this helps!
What about wireless broadband for streaming, is it a option?
Hi Adrian,
Depending how many people/devices want to stream at the same time and the resolution you want to stream in would determine if wireless broadband is an option for streaming. Generally speaking, if you want to stream in 4K, then a 4G wireless broadband connection isn’t likely to be suitable. A 5G wireless broadband connection however is a better option for streaming, allowing for multiple devices and streaming in a better resolution like 4K.
Hope this helps.
