Heading overseas? Southern Phone offers a $5 Daily Travel Pass for Zone 1 locations. It includes 5GB of data and unlimited calls and texts to local numbers.
The pass renews automatically every 24 hours or whenever your daily data limit is exceeded.

To keep your number, just let Southern Phone know during the activation process and they'll handle it for you. It can take anywhere up to 24–48 business hours for the transfer to be completed.

Those people are the disgrace to the customer service and service industry in general. Lack of any willingness to help their paying customer. I have no phone or internet for the last almost 48h since Thursday and they telling me to wait until Monday (it is Saturday morning now). Blaming Optus tower, which by the Optus website works perfectly now. My husband phone in Optus is working so... isn't that on you Southern Phone? No manager or supervisor to talk to on weekend (really?). When I went to Westfield to find the free wifi, to contact them, they told me to go home, tried to restart my phone - again!- and let me know if it doesn't work. Wait a second... if I have no internet or phone - how exactly should I do that??? This is a JOKE!!!

What constitutes “data” in regard to mobile phones?

Data is the exchange of information from the internet and your device or its applications. Whenever you turn-on your “data”, you are connected to the network and download or upload information. This includes emails, chat, browsing, internet banking, using voice over internet apps and many more.
You may contact your network by calling their hotline for further details on how you can manage your data.
