Why you should never skip travel insurance

A recent Finder survey of 1,110 respondents revealed that 28% of Australians – equivalent to 3.5 million people – suffered a travel mishap while abroad in the past 12 months.

The research found that 14% endured travel delays, 8% lost personal items, 5% were scammed and 3% were the victim of theft. Concerningly, 3% – equivalent to 377,275 people – ended up in hospital.

It's best to get travel insurance as soon as you've booked your holiday. That way, you can get protection for a variety of pre-holiday risks including cancellation due to injury or illness.

And some of our own deals and exclusives…

As if Click Frenzy Travel wasn't enough, a number of our travel insurance partners also have offers running right now so you can stay in the sale-hunting spirit.
