How much does Apple’s iPad Pro cost in Australia?
Apple has announced pricing and pre-order availability for the high-end iPad Pro line. Here’s what it will cost you to score Apple’s massive tablet.
If you’ve ever hankered after an iPad with an even larger display screen, Apple’s has just the device for you. It's Available to order online from 12 November with retail availability set for later this week, so presumably on Friday.
The iPad Pro comes in two storage and communication variants. The entry level 32GB Wi-Fi model will cost $1249, while the 128GB Wi-Fi+Cellular model will set you back $1699. Apple’s take on a stylus, the Apple Pencil, will cost $165, while the Smart Keyboard accessory will cost $269.
The local pricing is strongly competitive with US pricing, where the iPad Pro will cost USD$799 and USD$1079 respectively. After currency conversion and GST, that’s a rough price premium of around $4 on the 32GB model and around $15 on the 128GB model, bearing in mind that US prices never list variable state taxes.
