Sign up for this Optus mobile deal via Finder and save 57% on your first recharge.

If you're looking for a quick way to save on your mobile plan and get heaps of data in return, then this Optus deal should suit you just fine.

With the offer you'll be signing up to its 28-day expiry Optus Flex Plus plan and get:

  • 40GB for just $15 on the first recharge
  • 40GB for $35 for the next 2 recharges
  • Then 20GB for $35 ongoing after that

The deal is available for new customers via Finder only and you have until 8 October 2023 to take advantage of it.

Some added benefits of signing up with Optus's prepaid plan include:

  • Access to its 5G network if it's available in your area and you have a compatible smartphone
  • Up to 200GB data rollover if you recharge your plan before it expires or set up auto recharge
  • 400 minutes of standard international calls to 20 selected destinations
  • Keep in mind As this plan has a 28-day expiry instead of being monthly, you'll be paying 13 bills in a year instead of 12.

How does this Optus mobile deal stack up?

The first recharge stacks up amazingly well based on our $1 per GB benchmark. You'll end up paying just $0.38 per GB.

It still holds up well on the next 2 recharges as well at $0.88 per GB.

From the fourth recharge onwards the plan does become more expensive at $35 per recharge of 20GB, but having neat extras such as data banking, international call inclusions and 5G access could make it worth it for you.

The good news is there's no lock-in contract, so you can always switch plans if you only want to stick around until you're getting bonus data.

Can I use this deal with the new iPhone 15?

Apple's iPhone 15 line-up officially goes on sale on Friday 22 September 2023.

You might have already pre-ordered your phone outright or will be getting it shortly.

Whatever the case is, it might be time to get a 5G mobile plan to complement your shiny new smartphone.

Optus's deal could be the perfect fit given you can sign up quickly with an eSIM and you get access to 5G.

You'll need to hurry since the offer won't be around for too long, so you can head to Optus to sign up.

Alternatively, compare other mobile plan offers or sign up to an iPhone 15 plan with Optus.
