My phone bill states internet usage 289.551MB
does this mean 25mbps ? X per month Can you explain please . ??
Hi Sue,
Mbps refers to megabits per second, which is generally used to measure the speed of an internet connection. So an internet connection’s speed might be 25Mbps, or 25 megabits per second.
If your phone has used 289.551MB for the internet, that just refers to the number of megabytes (MB) of data that you have used while on the internet – from browsing websites, to using social media or whatever activities you do.
So although similar, Mbps and MB are separate terms that refer to different things – Mbps for speed and MB for size.
Hope this helps.
