1. American Express Velocity Platinum Card
The American Express Velocity Platinum Card has a frequent flyer Finder Score of 9.9.
This card is Finder's top scoring frequent flyer credit card in April for a reason: you can get 100,000 bonus Velocity Points when you spend $3,000 in the first 3 months with the card (as a new Amex customer).That's enough to book a return reward economy flight from Sydney to Singapore if you book in advance.
The card also lets you earn 1.25 points for every dollar you spend, which is pretty good when most cards let you earn 1 point at most. 100 bonus Status Credits sweetens the deal (if you spend $50,000 on the card, or 50 credits if you spend $25,000).
You also get Virgin Australia Lounge Access when you fly. There's a hefty $440 annual fee, but if you take advantage of what the card offers it more than pays for itself.
2. ANZ Frequent Flyer Black Card
The ANZ Frequent Flyer Black has a Finder Score of 9.76 in the frequent flyer category.
The ANZ Frequent Flyer Black Credit Card continues to be one of the market's strongest frequent flyer credit cards (it was highly commended at the 2025 Finder Awards).
It currently offers 130,000 bonus Qantas Points when you spend $5,000 in the first 3 months. This is a massive offer and gives you a ton of points value that could net you an international domestic flight, if you can nab a classic reward flight.
The biggest flag with this card is you won't get the full stack of bonus points in your account until you hold the card for a year. And pay the $425 annual fee twice.
But you can get $200 back on your card, which softens the fee. And this card has a lot of perks, like a 24 hour concierge service, 2 Qantas Club lounge invitations and complimentary travel insurance.
3. Qantas American Express Ultimate Card
The Qantas American Express Ultimate Card has a Finder Score of 9.75.
While this card doesn't have the biggest bonus points offer (50,000 points), it has a good earn rate of 1.25 Qantas Points for every dollar you spend and the $450 annual fee is offset by a $450 travel credit.
And it has all the offer perks of a premium card, like Qantas Club lounge invitations and travel insurance.
4. Qantas Premier Titanium
The Qantas Premier Titanium has a frequent flyer Finder Score of 9.61.
This is the card you want when you have loads of money and want to be rewarded handsomely when you flash that fancy plastic.
The annual fee is $1,200 (yes, you read that correctly) and you need to earn $200,000 a year just to be eligible.
But you can get 150,000 bonus Qantas Points, a 20% discount on status credits and flight discounts, plus travel insurance and lounge passes. Massive value with a high entry price.
5. Virgin Australia Velocity High Flyer Card
The Virgin Australia Velocity High Flyer Card has a Finder Score of 9.42.
This card has a really strong offer of 80,000 bonus Velocity Points if you spend $3,500 per month, for the first 2 months. You earn 1 Velocity Point per dollar, but this is capped at $8,000 a month.
The $329 annual fee is lower than other cards on this list, and it's partially offset by a $129 Virgin Australia gift card.
