Get more from your next credit card with a stack of bonus points and other great perks. Here are Finder's highest-rated rewards cards.

Life's expensive, and most of us are spending far more than we were a few years ago. A rewards credit card won't fix that. But it will get you a little something back on your spending.

And the best cards offer some pretty valuable bonus rewards points, which you can redeem for gift cards, cashbacks or even convert to frequent flyer points.

1. ANZ Rewards Black Credit Card

The ANZ Rewards Black Credit Card has a Finder Score of 9.9 in the rewards category.

If you spend $3,000 on this card in the first 3 months, you can get 180,000 bonus ANZ Reward Points. That's not a huge hurdle for a rewards card, and those points are worth at least $800 in digital gift cards. Or 90,000 Velocity Points.

The annual fee is $375, but you can get $150 back if you meet the bonus point spend conditions. Pays for itself.

This card won the 2025 Finder Award for best rewards credit card.

2. American Express Platinum Card

The American Express Platinum Card has a Finder Score of 9.9 in the rewards category.

This is a serious rewards card. How can you tell? It has platinum in the name and the annual fee is $1,450. This is the kind of credit card that's designed for frequent travellers and big spenders.

If you meet the criteria (spend $5,000 in the first 3 months) you can get 200,000 Membership Rewards Points. You also earn 2.25 points per dollar spent on most purchases, and get some travel, dining and entertainment perks too.

3. American Express Explorer Credit Card

The American Express Explorer Credit Card has a Finder Score of 9.77 in the rewards category.

This card is a bit more down to earth but still very rewarding, with 100,000 bonus Membership Rewards Points if you spend $4,000 on the card in the first 3 months. You earn 2 points per dollar spent and there's a $395 annual fee. But that's offset by an annual $400 travel credit.

4. NAB Rewards Signature Card

The NAB Rewards Signature Card has a Finder Score of 9.62 in the rewards category.

If you spend $3,000 in the first 60 days with this card you'll get 180,000 bonus NAB Rewards Points. But there's a slight catch: you won't get all the points until after 12 months.

Those points are worth over $800 in digital gift cards. The card also has a 0% international transaction fee which is helpful if you're travelling or shopping on overseas sites.

This card finished highly commended in the rewards category at the 2025 Finder Credit Card Awards.

5. St.George Amplify Signature

The St.George Amplify Signature has a Finder Score of 9.51 in the rewards category.

The St.George Amplify Signature gives you a discounted annual fee for the first year and 150,000 bonus Amplify Points. If you spend $12,000 in the first year. Those points are worth around $675 in gift cards.

There's a few other benefits too, like shopping cashbacks, travel insurance and airline lounge passes. Just keep in mind the annual fee is higher after the first year.

This card (and its identical siblings from Bank of Melbourne and BankSA) were highly commended at the 2025 Finder Credit Card Awards in the rewards category.

How to get the most out of your rewards credit card

The more rewards points, perks and benefits a credit card has the higher the fee. So getting the right rewards card means finding the balance between the fee and the benefits.

It also means taking full advantage of the points and benefits. If you don't use a credit card's airline lounge passes or flight credit, you're paying a fee for nothing.

Rewards cards also have high purchase rates. This is fine if you pay the balance off in full each month.

But if you carry a balance each month you'll get hit with higher interest charges.

Compare more rewards credit cards and get more rewards when you spend.
