Hi Tracy,
You can find out about your options on our page for loans you can apply while receiving Centrelink benefits and other government and community assistance programs as your loan option. Please note that the lenders on the pge offers smaller amounts and shorter terms. You may also find lenders that offers loans up to $5000 on this page.
Please ensure to read through the relevant product disclosure statement and terms and conditions of the loan to ensure that you got everything covered before you apply. Also, you can contact the lender and discuss your options and chances of approval before you send anything final for your application.
I hope this will help.
Thanks,

Hi I’m just wondering if I could apply for loan even tho I have to outstanding with other lenders but I want a loan to pay it of
Hi Davina,
To be eligible for a loan with Credit24, you can’t have more than one active small loan (less than $2,000). So you aren’t eligible for this loan. It’s an ASIC requirement that if you’re repaying more than two small loans, the lender needs to take extra steps to ensure you will not be under financial hardship by taking out another loan, even if it is to consolidate them. You can find out more about payday loan consolidation through our website. If you do want to compare your other options, please check different payday loans.
Hope this helps,
Elizabeth
Hi Tracy,
Thanks for your question.
You are still able to apply for a Credit24 loan if your Centrelink payment is not 50% or more of your income. If they are, you may refer to our list of lenders offering loans for Centrelink recipients.
Please click the name of the lender to be redirected to our review page and learn more about the lender’s loan offer, rates, and requirements as well as the pros and cons of using their loan service. When you are ready, you may then click on the “Go to site” button and you will be redirected to the lender’s website where you can proceed with the application or get in touch with their representatives for further inquiries you may have.
Before applying, please ensure that you meet all the eligibility criteria and read through the details of the needed requirements as well as the relevant Product Disclosure Statements/Terms and Conditions when comparing your options before making a decision on whether it is right for you. You can also contact the provider if you have specific questions.
I hope this has helped.
Thanks,
Elizabeth
I want to apply for a loan but I am blacklisted, on centrelink and don’t have a drivers licence or passport
Hi Shannon,
Thanks for your question.
Many lenders still consider you for a loan despite having bad credit and receiving Centrelink payments. You can compare lenders who offer loans to Centrelink recipients and other government and community assistance programs that you can apply.
In terms of providing your identity, the requirements differ between lenders, but you may be able to submit a Medicare card number or proof of age card instead of a driver’s licence/passport. You can see the requirements listed on our review pages.
I hope this has helped.
Thanks,
Elizabeth
