Ask a question
I am going on a cruise around Indonesia in April and the questionnaire won’t accept Indonesia nor Bali nor benoa nor lombok etc. How do I get a quote if you won’t accept my answers .
Hi Lynette,
I’m sorry to hear you were having issues. You can search for travel insurance for Bali here:
https://www.finder.com.au/travel-insurance/travel-insurance-bali
Hope this helps!
I’m planning an almost 5-month trip through Asia and Europe, which I will take once I’m free of my commitment as a carer to a terminally-ill relative. So I have no fixed dates – and 29 countries can’t be input either. I’m currently 72 years old. I simply need a rough estimate of my travel insurance costs for budgeting purposes. Nothing pre-existing and I’d want comprehensive cover.
Hi Brian,
Thanks for getting in touch with Finder. I hope all is well with you. 😃
It’s nice to hear about your travel plan. You may head to our travel insurance page and use our comparison table to compare quotes from various insurers. You can put “Worldwide” as your destination and then simply select any date. This will give you an idea of how much a comprehensive cover would cost you.
I hope this helps. Should you have further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out again.
Have a wonderful day!
Cheers,
Joshua

I am attempting to pay for an insurance quote but it will not accept my credit card details.
Hi Dianne,
Thank you for leaving a question.
I understand that you are not able to pay for an insurance quote via credit card. For this instance, you may need to call the insurer’s customer service number for you to be able to complete this transaction. Hope this helps!
Cheers,
Reggie
Tick Travel seems to be the best price for me. I will be going Africa for 2 weeks included in the time given and although I put Africa down for a destination, it did not come up on the list of destinations. Would I be covered or not >
Hi Helen,
Thank you for getting in touch with finder.
You may want to check out this https://www.finder.com.au/travel-insurance/tick-travel-insurance for your reference. This link also includes some general exclusions to claim with Tick Travel Insurance like if it arises due to your travel through a region for which the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has issued a travel advisory. So going to Africa is still covered unless there’s a travel advisory from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
I hope this helps.
Have a great day!
Cheers,
Jeni
