Buddy was accidentally transported to the North Pole as a toddler and raised to adulthood among Santa's elves. Unable to shake the feeling that he doesn't fit in, he travels to New York in search of his real father, cynical businessman Walter.
After a DNA test proves that they are indeed related, Walter reluctantly attempts to start a relationship with the elf. Wonderful chaos follows.
Will Ferrell offers a memorable performance in the lead role but, even more importantly, the movie perfectly captures the spirit of the holiday, highlighting the importance of kindness and love. It's also a whole lot of fun, so prepare to chuckle.
